Zurich International Airport also called Kloten Airport, is located in Kloten, canton of Zurich, Switzerland and managed by Unique Airport. Zurich International Airport is Switzerland's largest international flight gateway and hub to Swiss International Airlines soon to be a Lufthansa hub). Skyguide is responsible for all Air Traffic Control for Zόrich International Airport. In 2003, Zόrich International Airport completed a major expansion project in which it built a new parking garage, a new midfield terminal, and an automated underground train to move passengers between the existing terminal complex and the new terminal. Zόrich International Airport lost traffic when Swissair shut down its operations. When Lufthansa swallowed its successor Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS), traffic grew again.
